St. John the Apostle Catholic Church 50th Anniversary:
The Remarkable History of the ‘People’s Parish’ and the Faithful Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure.
By: Denise Sawyer
This 240-page history, written by Denise Sawyer, is illustrated with hundreds of photos from the past 50 years. It is the story of the first new parish to be built in the Archdiocese after Vatican II. The following 50 years would bring both cultural and social changes, and in the 1990’s, the church sold their valuable property and relocated to our present location.
Books are available through the church office.
