The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Needs You!
"Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers or sisters of mine, you did for me."
(Matthew 25:31-46)
Won't you join us in serving those in need in Monroe County?
There are many rewarding ways to help as a Vincentian Volunteer:
-
Phone Ministers take calls from the hotline, enter caller information into the data base, and assign clients to Home Visitors and Warehouse Ministers.
-
Home Visitors see clients face to face, provide them with financial aid, and information about additional government and community resources.
-
Warehouse Ministers collect, repair, organize, and re-distribute donated furniture and appliances to clients.
Communication Ministers keep the database and website up to date.
-
Special Event Ministers advance the fundraising efforts of the society by providing hands-on help at the Annual Pancake Breakfast and the Hog Roast Beer Garden Fest.
Training is provided around a schedule that works for you!
Vincentians seek to grow spiritually through service and fellowship with one another.
